DEMAND PLANNING & MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST (FASHION)

Reports to: Brand Manager;

Location: 555 3/2 Street, Ward 8, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.

Working time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Friday) and 8:30 - 12:30 (Saturday Morning).

Responsibilities:

I. Demand Planning (60%)

1. Forecasting:

• Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models to predict future product demand;
• Adjust forecasts based on promotional activities, new product launches, and market conditions.

2. Inventory Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations;
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

3. Data Analysis:

• Analyze sales data to identify patterns and trends;
• Use software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) to create and update demand forecasts.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives;
• Communicate forecast changes and their implications to relevant stakeholders.

II. Merchandising (40%)

1. Product Selection:

• Determine the product mix and assortment based on customer preferences and market trends;
• Collaborate with product development and purchasing to select products that meet quality and price criteria.

2. Sales Analysis:

• Monitor sales performance of different products and categories;
• Adjust merchandising strategies based on sales data and customer feedback.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role;
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures;
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in statistical data modeling;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for technology, with a willingness to experiment with new technological advancements;
• Extensive experience with branded or high-end products;
• Previous experience working with luxury brands in the fashion industry.
