You will join our eCommerce team, which is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining some of the most innovative and market-leading eCommerce applications and websites. IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Technical Lead (Golang/System) with strong hands-on expertise to build complex and scalable solution. In this role, you will lead the team in building scalable, maintainable, and innovative solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable APIs to handle high-volume transactions;
• We aim for teams that are inclusive, helpful, and have a strong sense of ownership for the things they build;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features;
• Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to mobile developers to facilitate their professional growth;
• Work on addressing bugs and improving application performance;
• Continuously research, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to optimize development efficiency and Customer Experience;
• Participate in the planning process for software development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery;
• Design the architecture for new products and features;
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of mobile developers, offering guidance and support to achieve individual objectives and deliver high-quality code;

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

• A pragmatic mindset;
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full development life cycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operation, monitoring, etc.);
• With at least 6+ years of experience working in software development, we also welcome strong candidates having fewer years of experience;
• Understanding of system design and tuning for high performance, scalability, and reliability;
• Strong database and schema design for large-scale and finance systems;
• Great problem-solving abilities;
• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Experience with event-driven architecture or message queue system;
• Professional experience working with cloud (either AWS, Azure, or GCP);

Soft skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong willingness to learn new practices and technologies;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including facilitation and negotiation;
• Understanding and experience of Agile methodology;
• Experience in working across several technical domains with the ability to ‘deep dive’ where required and ensure correct solutions are implemented;
• Ability to translate technical talk to the business;
• Ability to deliver convincing presentations that provide significant insight and generate consensus and buy-in;
• Experience managing and leading a team;
