Location: 555 3/2 Street, Ward 8, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
Working time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Friday) and 8:30 - 12:30 (Saturday Morning).
I. Job Objective:
You will be responsible for end-to-end ODM product development from market research and product ideation to final launch. This role acts as the key coordinator between manufacturers, experts, and internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure that the product is both market-relevant and commercially viable.
II. Key Responsibilities:
1. Trend Research & Product Ideation:
- Monitor market trends (local & global);
- Identify new product opportunities aligned with brand positioning;
2. Product Concept Development:
- Prepare product briefs (functions, USPs, packaging direction, etc.);
- Propose naming, key message, and initial pricing;
3. ODM Coordination & Sample Development:
- Send briefs and negotiate terms with manufacturers;
- Coordinate sample testing, revision, and final approval;
- Work with the legal/regulatory team to validate ingredients and product claims;
4. Order Management & Logistics:
- Prepare contracts and follow up on production timelines;
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse to ensure on-time delivery;
5. Product Launch Support:
- Write product descriptions, usage guides, and unique selling points (USPs);
- Support marketing, sales, and training teams to understand the product;
- Monitor post-launch performance and collect user feedback;
6. Product Improvement & Lifecycle Management:
- Analyze sales data and user insights;
- Recommend updates to packaging, formula, or positioning as needed;
7. Other Tasks:
- Assist the team leader with special product development projects;
- Stay updated with competitor products and market movements.
III. Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in product development (ODM/OEM), preferably in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care/ has experience working as a makeup artist.
- Intermediate English proficiency: able to write/read emails, discuss product specs, and negotiate with foreign suppliers (e.g., China, Korea);
- Basic Excel skills for tracking product status and compiling reports;
- Strong sense of ownership, logic, and aesthetic judgment;
Preferred:
- Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and packaging;
- Previous experience working with Chinese/ Korean manufacturers;
- Hands-on involvement in past product launches;
